Four bizzers to be feted at Saturn nods

Devlin, Biehn, Feige, Darabont set for sci-fi honors

The Academy of Science Fiction has slated four showbiz honorees for recognition at the org’s 37th annual Saturn Awards.

Dean Devlin will be presented the Dr. Donald A. Reed Founder’s Wward for his box office hits. Award is named after the academy’s founder, who died 10 years ago. A special tribute will be paid to Reed during the ceremony.

Michael Biehn will be awarded the life career kudo for his roles in the sci-fi realm. He’ll be seen in the apocalyptic film “The Divide” as well as “The Victim,” which he co-wrote and directed, later this year.

“Thor” producer Kevin Feige will be given the org’s Visionary Award for bringing Marvel Comics characters to the bigscreen.

Frank Darabont (whose AMC TV series “The Walking Dead” is nominated for six awards) will receive the George Pal Memorial Award.

Kudos ceremony takes place June 23 at the Castaway in Burbank and will be hosted by comedian Jeffrey Ross.
