Fletcher to direct ‘Fight Before Christmas’

Producers now focusing on cast

“The Proposal” helmer Anne Fletcher is set to direct “The Fight Before Christmas” for Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps banner.

Levy will produce the pic, penned by “Due Date” scribe Adam Sztykiel. Filmmakers are keeping the logline under wraps.

Now that Fletcher is attached, filmmakers will rev up casting — looking at thesps including Bradley Cooper, who is already considering an offer for the male lead.

Fletcher is no stranger to 21 Laps, either — the multihyphenate did the choreography on the banner’s October release “Real Steel,” which has grossed more than $220 million worldwide.

While “Fight” is not yet greenlit, 20th Century Fox — where 21 Laps is based — would distribute the family comedy should it move forward. Levy has spearheaded a number of successful films for the studio, including the “Night at the Museum” pics and “Date Night.”

Aaron Kaplan and Sean Perrone, who manage Sztykiel, will exec produce. Lauren Levy will oversee for the studio while Dan Levine and Billy Rosenberg will handle for 21 Laps.
