Ferrell, Wahlberg re-team for ‘Turkey Bowl’

Carlock, Silveri set to pen script

“The Other Guys” stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are set to re-team for Warner Bros.’ pigskin comedy “Turkey Bowl.”

Studio acquired the project as a pitch that finds Ferrell and Wahlberg leading rival small-town football teams in an annual Thanksgiving Day game.

“30 Rock” scribe Robert Carlock and “Friends” producer Scott Silveri have closed a deal to write the script.

Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy will produce through their Gary Sanchez banner, while Wahlberg will also produce through his shingle Closest to the Hole Prods.

Ferrell, who just completed a four-episode stint on NBC’s “The Office,” next stars in “Everything Must Go” and the Spanish-language pic “Casa de mi Padre.” Thesp is also attached to star alongside Zach Galifianakis in Jay Roach’s political comedy “Rivals.”

Wahlberg just wrapped Universal’s “Contraband” and is again working with the studio on Seth MacFarlane’s “Ted.” “The Fighter” star is also set to produce Universal’s “Bait and Switch” and Paramount’s “When Corruption Was King.”

Ferrell is repped by CAA and Mosaic, while WME and Leverage Management rep Wahlberg.
