Alona Tal and Natalie Martinez have landed the two female leads opposite Mark Wahlberg in the New Regency and Emmett/Furla co-production “Broken City.”

Pic, which Allen Hughes is directing from Brian Tucker’s script, also stars Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta Jones.

Story centers on a cop-turned-private-investigator (Wahlberg) who, in an attempt to turn his life around, is thrust into a murder investigation amid a mayoral candidate (Crowe) involved in a corrupt election.

Tal would play Wahlberg’s assistant; Martinez will play his girlfriend.

Emmett/Furla packaged and funded the film, with Fox on board to distribute the Jan. 18, 2013, release.

Martinez, repped by WME and Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Entertainment, will be seen next in cop drama “End of Watch.” Tal, repped by Innovative and McKeon-Myones Management, recently joined the FX pilot “Powers.”
