Thomas Lennon and Amir Talai are set to round out the cast of Lionsgate’s motherhood comedy “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.”
Duo will play new dads who join Chris Rock’s “dude group” and are counseled in the ways of fatherhood along with Rob Huebel.
Kirk Jones is directing the Shauna Cross-scripted pic, which is skedded for release on May 11, 2012.
Lennon, who recently appeared in both “Cedar Rapids” and “Bad Teacher,” recently wrapped Lionsgate’s “Rapturepalooza” and will soon be seen in “What’s Your Number?” and “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas.” Thesp is also writing and producing “The Machine” for MGM and Vin Diesel’s One Race Films, as well as the indie comedy “The Boondoggle.”
Additionally, he and fellow “Night at the Museum” scribe Robert Ben Garant just released a book titled “Writing Movies For Fun and Profit.”
Talai previously appeared in “Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay” and “The Pursuit of Happyness.”
Lennon is repped by CAA and The Kohner Agency reps Talai, while both are managed by Principato-Young Entertainment.
