Emma Stone offered ‘Zombies’ lead

Lionsgate taps 'Spider-Man' actress for role of Elizabeth Bennet

EXCLUSIVE: Will Emma Stone ever get away from those pesky zombies?

The “Zombieland” star has been offered the lead role in Lionsgate’s “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” with Craig Gillespie directing.

Seth Grahame-Smith, who penned the original tome, is writing the script with Marti Noxon. Lionsgate had no comment on the offer.

Pic is a spinoff on the Jane Austen novel — with the twist that Bennett and Mr. Darcy are fighting off zombies, as the title implies.

Natalie Portman, Annette Savitch, Richard Kelly, Ted Hamm and Sean McKittrick are producing through Portman’s Handsomecharlie Films and Kelly’s Darko Films.

Stone can be seen next in Sony’s “The Help.” She’s repped by WME.
