Fox’s “Rio,” Sony’s “The Other Guys” and Warner Bros.’ “Yogi Bear” have been tapped as the feature nominees for the Environmental Media Assn. awards.

Winners will be announced at a special reception Oct. 15 at Warner Bros. studios in Burbank. The EMA chooses nominees for their role in shaping how people think and act about sustainable lifestyles.

“It’s rewarding to see the continued commitment by all our nominees to include environmental messaging in storylines and exciting to see the impact it’s had and continues to have on our culture,” said EMA prexy Debbie Levin.

Documentary noms went to “Carbon Nation” from Earth School Educational Foundation, “African Cats” from Disneynature, “Revenge of the Electric Car” from WestMidWest Prods. and “Saving Pelican 895” from Vermilion Films for HBO Documentary Films.

Fox’s “Futurama,” TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland” and Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” took the episodic comedy nominations. Television episodic drama noms went to ABC’s “Body of Proof,” CBS’ “CSI” and CBS’ “The Good Wife.”

In reality TV, noms went to HGTV’s “HGTV Green Home 2011,” NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” and HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher.” In children’s TV, Nickelodeon’s “Bubble Guppies,” Disney Channel’s “Fish Hooks” and Disney Channel’s “Zeke and Luther” drew noms.
