Benderspink and Davis Entertainment are teaming on ensemble drama-thriller “Seven Days Waiting” from a script by Jeff Bacon, Joe Davidson and Jordan Capell.
Logline on the project, described as similar to “Crash” in tone, is being kept under wraps.
“Seven Days Waiting” will be produced by Davis Entertainment topper John Davis and Brad Jensen and exec produced by Benderspink. Derek Dauchy will oversee for Davis and exec produce.
Davis has a long-standing first-look deal at Fox. The company just wrapped “Chronicle” and recently produced “Mr. Popper’s Penguins,” “Predators” and “Gulliver’s Travels” for the studio.
Benderspink reupped its first-look deal at New Line in May and recently exec produced “I Am Number Four” and “The Hangover 2.” The banner has recently set up the Untitled Cook & Weisberg project at Summit, “Abducted” and “The Mighty” at Paramount, “Undying Love” at Warner Bros. and “Virgin Territory” at MPCA.
