Twentieth Century Fox has dated a slew of tentpoles over the next two years, most notably setting the studio’s fifth installment in the Bruce Willis “Die Hard” franchise, “A Good Day to Die Hard,” for Feb. 14, 2013.

Among Fox’s 2012 entries, Liam Neeson actioner sequel “Taken 2” and surfer biopic “Of Men and Mavericks” will bow Oct. 5 and Oct. 26, respectively, while Billy Crystal-Bette Midler starrer “Parental Guidance” is set to launch Nov. 21.

“Die Hard” kicks off the studio’s newly dated 2013 slate: “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,” sequel to “Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” ($227 million worldwide in 2010), follows on March 27, with 3D prehistoric pic “Walking With Dinosaurs” shifted from Dec. 20 to Oct. 11.

The Valentine’s Day release marks the first time a “Die Hard” pic will launch during the first quarter.

Fox aims for the Willis actioner to serve as counterprogramming to the holiday’s romantic fare, though date crowds will also likely turn out for the latest “Die Hard.” Most recently, 2007’s “Live Free or Die Hard” opened during the summer and cumed $383 million worldwide.

The “Taken” sequel will bow in early fall; the original became a sleeper hit in January 2009, grossing more than $225 million worldwide.
