ROME — “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2” will open Italy’s 41st Giffoni Film Festival, the unique children’s event with 3,300 kids from 40 countries as jurors.

Final “Potter” installment will have its Italo bow at the fest, unspooling in 3D, in Giffoni Valle Piana, near the Amalfi coast, on July 12, before opening in Italian cinemas July 13.

“Deathly Hallows — Part 2,” which goes out Stateside via Warner Bros. July 15, will world preem in London’s Trafalgar Square July 7.

Giffoni — which features six sections targeted at young auds, ranging from children aged 3-5 to young adults 18-23 — has also announced that its annual theme driving discussions at the fest will be the word “Link.”

“We wish to analyze its various nuances and meanings, well beyond the Internet,” said artistic director Claudio Gubitosi.

Giffoni will run July 12-21.
