James D’Arcy has boarded Warner Bros.’ “Cloud Atlas” starring Tom Hanks and Halle Berry.
Jim Sturgess, Susan Sarandon and Hugh Grant are also set to star with Andy and Lana Wachowski and Tom Twyker helming from a script they penned.
Pic is based on the David Mitchell novel that tells the story of humankind, exploring how our actions and consequences effect one another throughout the past, present and future.
Grant Hill and Stefan Arndt are producing.
D’Arcy recently wrapped production on the indie “The Philosophers” and has been recently seen in the Madonna-helmed “W.E.” as well as the Lionsgate-U.K. release “Screwed.” Other past credits include “Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World” and “An American Haunting.”
He is repped by CAA, Management 360 and Markham, Froggatt and Irwin in the U.K.
