The Berlin Film Festival and the activist org Interdependence Movement have named Tiffany Shlain’s doc “Connected” the winner of the first Interdependence Film Prize for emerging filmmakers.

Kudo was handed out during the Interdependence Day Forum Monday near Ground Zero in Gotham.

Shlain’s doc, which combines an autobiographical tale about her family with a look at the intensifying links between everything and everyone in the new-media age, preemed at Sundance earlier this year and will soon hit theaters in a Paladin release.

The trophy is one of two to be handed out at the forum, with the other related to activism.

Pic begins its theatrical rollout Friday in San Fran, with a Gotham run, starting Oct. 14 on the itinerary.
