Chelsea Clinton joins IAC board

Grad student serves on Diller's 14-member board

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton has joined the board of Barry Diller’s media holding company IAC/InterActive Corp.

Clinton, 31, is currently a doctorate student at Oxford University and works at New York U.

“She brings some interesting experience, good background and complements all of our other board members,” IAC spokesperson said.

IAC’s board voted to appoint Clinton and Accel’s Sonali De Rycker last week. Two women will bring the total number of board members to 14.

IAC has an ownership stake in more than 50 companies, including The Daily Beast, Newsweet and Urban Spoon.
