Big Beach finds ‘Gods’

Silverstone, Walken, Stone among those set to star

Big Beach principals Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf have enlisted a star-studded lineup for “Gods Behaving Badly,” tapping Alicia Silverstone, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Christopher Walken, Sharon Stone, John Turturro, Edie Falco, Oliver Platt and Rosie Perez for the ensemble pic.

Story finds the Greek gods living in a brownstone in New York City, where they cross paths with a young couple, played by Silverstone and Moss-Bachrach.

Walken has been cast as Zeus, Stone as Aphrodite, Turturro as Hades, Falco as Artemis, Platt as Apollo and Perez as Persephone. Also in the cast are Phylicia Rashad as Demeter, Nelsan Ellis as Dionysus, Gideon Glick as Eros and Henry Zebrowski as Hermes.

Turtletaub will direct and produce with Saraf, while Caroline Jaczko will exec produce. Helmer and Josh Goldfaden adapted the script from Marie Phillips’ bestselling novel.

Big Beach’s next pic is the Paul Rudd-starrer “Our Idiot Brother,” which the Weinstein Co. opens Aug. 26.

Weston is repped by ICM, JGD Talent and 3 Arts Entertainment.
