Alec Baldwin has made a donation of $250,000 to the Hamptons Film Festival, for which he serves as a board member.

Baldwin has worked with arts organizations such as the New York Philharmonic, the Roundabout Theater Company, Guild Hall of East Hampton and the Public Theater. Tonight Baldwin will again host Guild Hall’s SummerDocs series, kicking off with “Page One: Inside the New York Times.” After the screening, Baldwin will be joined on stage by director Andrew Rossi, New York Times executive editor Bill Keller and reporter David Carr for a Q&A.

The final two SummerDocs screenings in the series will be Pierre Thoretton’s “L’Amour Fou,” screening Aug. 19, and Alma Har’el’s “Bombay Beach,” screening Sept. 1.

The Hamptons Film Festival runs Oct. 13-17.
