Horrormeister bows production, distrib shingle

Blairwood to debut at Cannes fest

Production and distribution company Blairwood Entertainment will debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Topper James Dudelson, formerly prexy/CEO of Taurus Entertainment, founded Blairwood with 30 years of showbiz experience. He sees Blairwood as an opportunity to step outside of the horror world.

“I want to make movies that go beyond genre,” Dudelson said.

Joining Dudelson at Blairwood are Sabrina Chen-Louie, Peter Guzzardo, Tony Boldi and Ana Clavell.

Blairwood’s pics slated to premiere in the Cannes market include “City of Gardens” with John Robinson; “Fix: The Extreme Ministry Movie”; docu “Burma: A Human Tragedy”; tuner “Leading Ladies” and “Elite,” a Spanish languge actioner.

Blairwood Entertainment is based in Universal City.
