Hungarian production company Flashback has joined forces with Budapest and London-based partners to offer a wider range of film business services.

Flashback, headed by founder Tamas Zakonyi — who was line producer for Steven Spielberg’s “Munich” when it shot in Budapest — has teamed up with Andras Erkel, former head of Budapest’s Studio Varga, now CEO of Studio Baestarts, and U.K.-based producer Tony Miller, former head of Natural Nylon and the joint venture between Odeon Cinemas and BSkyB.

The new shingle will take advantage of Hungary’s tax rebate system that offers producers 20%-25% cash back on in-country spend. It will be managed by Zakonyi and Erkel in Budapest, with Miller heading an affiliate office in London.

Flashback is in discussion with a number of American and British producers on a range of feature and television projects.
