Bleiberg Entertainment has closed deals for Roland Joffe’s “There Be Dragons” in the U.K. through Stealth Media Group and China through Hig.

Deals were announced Wednesday at Cannes. Samuel Goldwyn Films released “Dragons” in the U.S. on May 6 and it’s grossed $972,942 at 259 locations while Aurum Prods. released it March 25 in Spain.

Pic previously sold to Okhma for English-speaking Africa and South Africa, VVS (Canada), Tanweer Group (India), Eagle (Middle East), Suraya (Philippines) Ozen (Turkey), Zon-Lusomundo (Portugal) and Tayrona (Latin America).

Produced by Ignacio Gomez Sancha, Joffe and Ignacio Nunez, the film centers on a London journalist trying to unravel a deadly mystery, nearly 70 years in the making, linking his father to the founder of Opus Dei. Wes Bentley, Charlie Cox, Olga Kurylenko, Derek Jacobi, Dougray Scott and Rodrigo Santoro star.
