K5 Intl. has snapped up foreign sales rights to Paul Walker starrer “Vehicle 19,” which it is shopping to buyers at the Cannes Film Festival next week.

Walker also exec produces the pic, which is skedded to shoot in August, while “Buried” producer Peter Safran and Ryan Haidarian, former head of production and development at the NFVF, will produce.

Story, which recently appeared in the Black List, is directed by South African Mukunda Michael Dewil and sees Walker’s character become the target of a police hunt after he picks up the wrong rental vehicle and finds a woman tied up in the trunk.

K5’s Daniel Baur negotiated the deal with Safran and Haidarian. UTA is repping domestic rights.

K5 acquired all international rights through a combination of its own funds, Kevin Frakes’ financing entity PalmStar MediaCapital and EFish Entertainment, an L.A.-based shingle.
