Apparently enough to feed TLC’s “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant,” which has been picked up for a fourth season.
“I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” — seriously, these women CARRIED BABIES INTO LABOR WITHOUT KNOWING IT — is one of several series TLC renewed on Wednesday.
The lifestyle cabler has also given a second season order to “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta,” which returns in summer 2011 with 18 new half-hours. TLC also gave a second season to “Strange Sex,” which is back with 10 new episodes in April 2011.
“Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” centers on Southern brides looking for their perfect wedding dress at Atlanta bridal salon Bridals by Lori. And “Strange Sex” profiles “mysterious conditions and the science behind sexual attraction.”
Additionally, TLC has picked up a fourth season of “Toddlers and Tiaras,” which is launches in summer 2011. (But first, the second half of “Toddlers” season three returns in December.) TLC has ordered another 18 hour-long episodes.
I’m praying for the cross-over episode among all these shows: A Southern bride, fresh with her “Say Yes to the Dress”-fueled wedding, practices in some kinky “Strange Sex” — and yet doesn’t realize that she is pregnant. After giving birth on “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant,” this newly minted surprise mom decides to pimp that little one for cash on the kiddie pageant circuit — winding up on “Toddlers and Tiaras.”
Make it happen, TLC.
