Aardman Animation series "Timmy Time" — the famed shingle's first preschool-targeted project — is headed to Disney Channel for a Sept. 7 sneak preview and Sept. 13 premiere.
"Timmy," telling the tales of a lamb who enters preschool, has been airing on Blighty's Cbeebies channel. It is a spinoff of Aardman's other Disney Channel entry, "Shaun the Sheep."
"Preschoolers can easily identify with Timmy as he learns universal lessons about himself, his friends and the world around him," said "Timmy" creator, producer and supervising director Jackie Cockle.
Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment, DVD distributor for "Shaun," will fill the same function for "Timmy" with a release due in early 2011.
