Slow Down for Julia — in memory of a life cut tragically short

In memory of Julia Siegler, the 13-year-old who died after being hit by a car on Sunset Boulevard in February, the LAPD is mounting a public safety campaign to raise awareness of the consequences of unsafe driving.

Siegler was the daughter of Scott Siegler, an exec with Zelnick Media, and Jody Cukier Siegler, a former film marketing exec.

On Thursday, Cukier Siegler, LA. City Councilman Bill Rosendahl and LAPD officials will hold an 8 a.m. newser to launch the "Slow Down for Julia" campaign. It will be held at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Cliffwood Avenue, the site where Siegler was killed.
