Shout behind ‘Pregnant’

Rourke onboard as co. CEO

MDC’s Shout Media is behind the upcoming Bravo series “Pregnant in Heels,” profiling the world of maternity clothing designer Rosie Pope.

Longtime syndication producer Michael Rourke (“Ricki Lake,” “Judge Hatchett”) is on board to serve as CEO of Shout Media, which plans to develop fare both for traditional TV broadcast, cable and syndication, as well as across digital media platforms.

MDC Partners chairman/CEO Miles S. Nadal said the new shingle would help marketers “deliver immersive brand engagement, entertainment and ongoing interaction with consumers.”

MDC Partners include Volkswagen and Coca-Cola agency Crispin Porter and Bogusky, as well as Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal.

As for Rourke, the producer spent nine years as a producer at Sony Pictures TV. He also produced series for VH1 and NBC News.
