Longoria’s got two series, mini in development

Thesp partners with actress Morris for 'Sendera'

While Eva Longoria’s private life generates the headlines, her professional world has never been busier.

The “Desperate Housewives” actress’s production company — dubbed UnbeliEVAble Entertainment — has landed a pair of projects in development at ABC, as well as an eight-hour miniseries at Starz.

At the Alphabet net, Longoria has partnered with another thesp, “Cold Case” alum Kathryn Morris, to exec produce the drama “Sendera.”

Hourlong, set up through ABC Studios, centers on two wealthy families — one from Mexico, the other from Texas — locked in a power struggle.

Fred Ellis, Monte Williams and Sally Robinson are attached to write.

Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble is producing with Morris’ Hotplate Prods. Hotplate’s Alan Barnette and UnbeliEVAble’s Virginia Trinkle are also exec producers.

Longoria is also behind the single-camera comedy “Parenting by Committee.” Show centers on four single best friends who discover that one of them is pregnant — and decide to raise the child, sans father, together.

Alyssa Embree and Jessica Koosed, who wrote the Alloy Entertainment Web series “First Day,” are writing; Longoria and Trinkle are exec producing. ABC Studios is behind the show.

Over at Starz, Longoria’s shingle is behind “Aztecs,” which centers on the historic romantic relationship between Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortes and his interpreter, Malinalli (also known as “La Malinche”).

Longoria launched her label in 2006. She also created the VH1 reality show “Beso: Waiting on Fame” with 51 Minds and Cris Abrego.
