The Kardashians are setting up shop in Gotham for a spinoff series.
E! has ordered 10 episodes of “Kourtney and Kim Take New York,” which will go into production this week and premiere in January. Show will be produced by Ryan Seacrest Prods. and Bunim-Murray Prods.
Skein will be the third show starring the Kardashian sisters. “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,” which was given a third-season order by the network Tuesday, was preceded by “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
“New York” will center on Kourtney and Kim opening up their retail store Dash in Manhattan while trying to maintain their family bond.
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is in the midst of its fifth season and averaging 3.4 million viewers. The Aug. 22 premiere was the top season debut (4.7 million viewers) and second-most watched show in the history of E!, beaten only by the fourth-season finale.
“Kourtney and Khloe” finished its second second season in August and averaged 2.7 million viewers over 10 episodes.
