The cabler has picked up the broadcast rights to both movies. “The Social Network” comes from Sony, while “Wall Street” comes from sister 20th Century Fox.
FX has been aggressive in the movie-buying game this year (as have rivals USA and Turner). Among the pics FX picked up this summer: “Iron Man 2,” “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” “Shrek Forever After,” “Date Night,” “The Karate Kid” and “How To Train Your Dragon.”
