Gordon Ramsay series sold to Zee Networks

LONDON — Hard-swearing Brit celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s recent U.K. series “Gordon’s Great Escape,” in which Ramsay travels to India in search of culinary perfection, has been sold to Zee Networks in India.

Optomen International has also licensed the three-part show, produced by One Potato Two Potato, the shingle part-owned by the chef, to Fox Latin America, The Q Channel in Korea, Filmlux Netherlands and Paprika for its webs in Hungary, Czech Rep., Slovakia and Romania.

A second series of “Gordon’s Great Escape,” upped to four episodes, features South East Asia and the cuisines of Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
