TLC has ordered a sixth season of fashion series “Say Yes to the Dress.”
Skein, produced by Half Yard Prods., will spotlight women shopping at the Kleinfeld bridal salon in New York and feature 18 new episodes. The sixth season is set to begin airing in February.
Spinoff “Say Yes to the Dress: Big Bliss,” which follows plus-sized brides as they look for the perfect wedding dress, begins its first season on Oct. 1.
Cabler is also ramping up its “Police Women” franchise, adding a new Dallas edition set to begin at the end of October, but no official date has been set. Show will follow five female officers and their day-to-day experiences. Casting has been completed.
Previous locales of “Police Women” that remain in the TLC rotation include Broward County, Fla., Maricopa County, Ariz. and Memphis, Tenn.
