“The Dr. Oz Show” has sold in 82 territories around the world including format sales to MBC in the Middle East and Rossiya in Russia, according to Sony Pictures Television and Harpo Prods.
Broadcasters in South Korea, New Zealand, Hungary, Romania Turkey and Latin America have bought the U.S. version of the daytime yakker.

“This format gives channels the opportunity to find their own medical equivalent of Dr. Oz and through such a personality, forge a strong and trusted social link with their audiences,” Louwerse said.
