CTV’s fall sked includes Conan, “No Ordinary Family” and “Shat My Dad Says”

Aww, how cute! Look at Canada announcing their own primetime schedules!* In the case of CTV, it’s mostly a hodge-podge of primetime series from the U.S. networks — and reminds me of the early days of small market TV here in the States, where stations were sometimes affiliated with two or even all three networks (and cherrypicked what they wanted to air as a result.)

CTV has repeats of “The Big Bang Theory” on weekdays at 7:30 (except Thursday), a full year before the show makes it to broadcast syndication here it the States. CTV will also air “The Conan O’Brien” Show” from Monday through Thursday at 1 a.m. (Super late, but he will be seen in the Great White North on a broadcast network, interestingly.)

Additionally, CTV announced that it has acquired the Canadian run of Fox’s “The X-Factor,” starring Simon Cowell, beginning in fall 2011.

New U.S. series hitting the CTV air include “No Ordinary Family,” “The Defenders,” “Law & Order: Los Angeles,” “Shat My Dad Says” and “Blue Bloods.” Midseason entries include Paula Abdul’s “Got to Dance,” “Mr. Sunshine” and the “Criminal Minds” spinoff.

Homegrown Canadian series returning to CTV include “The Borgias,” “Flashpoint” (season four), “The Bridge” (season 2), “The Listener” (season 2), “Comedy Now!” (season 13), “Hiccups” (season 2), “Dan for Mayor” (season 2) and “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” (season 3). Here in the U.S., CBS is airing season 3 of “Flashpoint” and season 1 of “The Bridge” this summer.
