‘Comics to Watch’ to bow at Caroline’s

Live show to put comics before industry execs

Comedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival will co-produce a live show called “Comics to Watch” at Gotham nightclub Caroline’s. Perfs will run as part of the 2010 NYCF from Nov. 3-7.

“Comics to Watch” was created to launch the careers of the next generation of comedians by putting them in front of industry executives and comedy fans,” said the cabler’s veep of talent JoAnn Grigioni in a release.

Net and fest judges will choose the participants based on writing quality, delivery, and stage persona.
