Charlie Sheen expected back at work next week

Charlie Sheen is expected to return next week on the set of CBS’ “Two and a Half Men.”

Sheen’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, said that the actor is planning to be back at work next Tuesday. He’ll miss a Monday table read, as Sheen is scheduled in an Aspen, Colo., court that day on domestic abuse charges.

Production on “Two and a Half Men” was put on hold Feb. 23, as Sheen checked himself into a rehabilitation clinic for what was called a “preventative measure.” But the thesp is expected to exit that clinic shortly.

Warner Bros. TV had no comment on the word from Sheen’s camp — as studio execs likely want to wait until the thesp returns to work before confirming.

“Men” has shot 18 of its 24 episodes this season.

Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day for allegedly threatening his wife, Brooke Mueller, with a knife. Thesp is facing a domestic violence charge in the case, and will formally enter his plea on March 15.
