Bob_barker_ap--300x300 The show that’s right to lure Bob Barker out of retirement is … “The Huckabee Show.”

Barker, who hasn’t hosted anything on TV since retiring from “The Price Is Right” in June 2007, but it was announced today that he will co-host two of the first shows former Governor and Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will tape for national television syndication. (Michael Schneider posted about this on Variety On the Air last month.)

The Barker-Huckabee combo shows will air on selected Fox affiliates (including New York but not Los Angeles) as part of Huckabee’s six-week trial as a weekday talk show beginning July 26. News Corp. syndie unit Twentieth Television is the distributor.

Huckabee is continuing with his weekend “Huckabee” program on Fox Cable News.
