Bette Midler will be providing the New Year’s Eve entertainment on HBO.
Diva will star in 70-minute special “Bette Midler: The Showgirl Must Go On,” taped at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Spesh marks Midler’s fifth HBO special and her first since “Diva Las Vegas” in 1997.
Thesp recently did voicework in bigscreen pic “Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.”
Midler has performed at Caesars Palace for nearly two years. She produced and directed the HBO telecast. Seanne Farmer also produced.
Amy Schumer’s journey through her pregnancy is coming to HBO Max.
