In addition to seeing how “Law & Order” is done, Los Angeles-style, American viewers will also get the Brit bits this fall.

BBC America has committed to airing 26 episodes of “Law & Order: UK” (set in the United Kingdom, not the University of Kentucky), with the first going up Oct. 3 at 10:30 p.m., followed by regular airings at 9 p.m. on Fridays.

Jamie Bamber, Bradley Walsh, Ben Daniels and Freema Agyeman star. Richard Stokes produces with exec producers Jane Featherstone, Andrew Woodhead, Stephen Garret and, of course Dick Wolf. Chris Chibnall (“Torchwood,” “Life on Mars”) is lead writer and executive producer.

Note from the clip above that the U.K. intro doesn’t echo the voiceover from the familiar U.S. intro — though everyone does walk together at the end.
