British thesp Christopher Cazenove, who played Ben Carrington on “Dynasty,” died Wednesday of septicaemia in London. He was 66.

Cazenove died just a week after John Forsythe, who played his brother Blake in the ABC soap.

Born in Winchester, Hampshire, Cazenove was a stage and TV star in the U.K. for decades before he appeared on “Dynasty.”

Educated at Eton, he entered showbiz against the wishes of his military father. Cazenove made his British stage debut in a regional production of “Man and Superman” in 1967.

On Brit TV he frequently played aristocrats in popular period series including “Jennie,” “Lady Randolph Churchill,” “The Duchess of Duke Street” and “The Regiment.”

Film credits include “Eye of the Needle,” “Heat and Dust” and “3 Men and a Little Lady.”

Cazenove was due to narrate “The Rocky Horror Show” at the Norwich Theater Royale in June, however he contracted septicaemia in February and died at St. Thomas Hospital, the BBC reported.

Survivors include his companion, Isabel Davis, and a son.
