Todd Siegel has been upped to exec VP of Fox Cable Sales. Siegel will oversee sales for Fox’s sports cablers, including Speed and Fox Soccer Channel. He was most recently Speed’s senior veep of ad sales.

Jimmy Blackburn has been named veep of programming research for Disney Channels Worldwide. Blackburn joins Disney from Nickelodeon, where he was senior director of kids and family audience research. He’s also held exec posts at Cartoon Network and TNT.

TV advertising firm Petry Network has named cable sales veteran Harry Neuhaus VP of international. Neuhaus comes to Petry after serving as director of East Coast sales and operations for Los Angeles-based LATV Networks.

Brian Towne has been promoted to exec veepee and chief operating officer of digital tech firm DTS, which specializes in audio technology. Towne has been with DTS since 2003 most recently serving as exec VP and g.m.

IMG Media has appointed Pete Ross director of development, reporting to senior veep and exec producer Steve Mayer. Ross previously served as manager of program development for Turner Broadcasting’s TruTV.

Greg Boles has been named chief operating officer of Fanscape. Boles will be responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the L.A.-based social media marketing agency. He previously worked in marketing for Andrews Electronics and Advantage Sales and Marketing, among other companies.

Scott Gedney has joined NHL Network as sales manager of national business. Gedney was previously at ESPN as an account exec focusing on multimedia sales.

Ascent Media Group’s Global Media Exchange has upped Mara Sternthal to general manager. She had been senior VP of business development.
