Morrow set for Bruckheimer pilot

'Numbers' thesp will star in 'Truth'

Yet another “Numbers” star has signed up to star in a pilot this spring.

Rob Morrow is to topline ABC’s Jerry Bruckheimer pilot “The Whole Truth.” Morrow’s casting comes as his “Numbers” co-star, David Krumholtz, has also found new work (on Fox’s untitled Ron Howard IRS pilot).

Like Krumholtz, Morrow’s work on “The Whole Truth” is in second position to “Numbers” — but that CBS drama is not expected to return.

In other recent high-profile castings, “Ed” star Tom Cavanaugh has signed on to play the lead in the Alphabet’s drama pilot “Edgar Floats.” And “Samantha Who?” alum Jean Smart will appear as the Hawaii state governor (a nod to real-life Gov. Linda Lingle?) in CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O.”

And finally, Dana Delany is one step closer to joining ABC’s “Body of Evidence” as a medical examiner. Thesp may also return to “Desperate Housewives,” depending on the fate of the pilot.
