Kinetic puts team in motion

Production company was launched by ex-RDF exec Coelen

Kinetic Content, the new production company launched by former RDF USA CEO Chris Coelen, has rounded out its executive team.

Joining the company are chief operating officer Kathleen Burns Rohr; senior VPs Karrie Wolfe, Billy Taylor and Arash Ghadishah; vice prexy Emma Conway; and manager Heather Downie.

“We’ve assembled a very significant, very diverse team of world-class producers with massive experience developing and delivering hugely successful programs across every non-scripted genre,” Coelen said.

Burns Rohr joins Kinetic from Pilgrim Films and TV, where she worked on series such as “Dirty Jobs” and “American Chopper.”

Wolfe served as senior VP at RDF USA and RDF Rights, acquiring rights to titles such as “Find My Family” and “How to Look Good Naked.”

Taylor previously worked as a producer at Bravo under an overall deal, working on series such as “Flipping Out” and “Kell on Earth.” His credits also include MTV.

An ABC News alum, Ghadishah covered the White House and U.S. invasion of Iraq. Downie was also an ABC News employee, having worked as a writer, producer and assignment editor.

Conway recently moved to L.A. from the U.K., where she worked as a producer on series such as “Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.” Under a FremantleMedia deal here, she worked on “Let’s Make a Deal.”

Those execs join previously announced hires Matilda Zoltowski, Jennifer Danska, Gerald Massimei and Katie Griffin.

The staffers all report to Coelen, who just recently opened Kinetic’s Santa Monica offices.
