Continuing a steady stream of hires and promotions, MTV has named Jordan Berman senior veep of integrated marketing.
Berman will plan, develop and integrate marketing for MTV’s TV, online and mobile outlets. Branded entertainment and longform programming will be among his areas of expertise.
He will report to MTV general manager Stephen Friedman and senior veep of integrated marketing and sales Dan Lovinger.
Berman came from a position at AT&T as VP of media innovation, where he developed entertainment services and worked with advertisers. He has also served as Showtime’s director of promotions and partnership marketing, and has an ad agency background.
Berman is also the founder of online entertainment site Shorn.com.
Since November, MTV has named Randy Sosin as senior veep of talent development, Chris Linn exec veep of production, David Janollari exec VP of scripted development, Brent Haynes senior veep of the new comedy and animation department, Jason Gwozdz VP of comedy and animation, Brooke Posch senior director of comedy and animation, Nick Shore senior veep of strategic insights and research, Steve Tseckares senior veep of special programming and production and James Bolosh VP of series development.
