Interpol performed five songs from their new self-titled album at a private concert Monday night that will be aired Thursday morning on KCRW.

The Gotham band also treated the 150 people assembled at Santa Monica‘s Apogee Studios, the professional home of producer Bob Clearmountain, to their classics “Narc,” “NYC” and “Evil” in the interview/performance. It was one of the band’s first performances since the departure of bassist Carlos D (aka Dengler), who has been replaced by David Pajo and keyboardist Brandon Curtis of Secret Machines.
