Blue Horizon label back with Black Angels

Blackangels Blue Horizon Records, the label re-launched by Seymour Stein (Sire Records maestro) and Richard Gottehrer (producer of Blondie and many others) will reappear Sept. 14 with the release of "Phosphene Dream," a new album by Austin tripmeisters the Black Angels. The track "Bad Vibrations" can be heard here.

The album was produced by Dave Sardy (Oasis, Wolfmother) and cut in Los Angeles. The neo-psychedelic Black Angels previously recorded for Seattle's Light In The Attic Records; they backed 13th Floor Elevators legend Roky Erickson on a West Coast tour in 2008.
