Praisery 42West has tapped veteran music publicist Dvora Vener Englefield to head a newly created music department within its talent division.

Englefield will be joined by Lisa Taylor, and both will be based in 42West’s Los Angeles office.

Englefield was a senior VP at BWR, where she created and ran the music department. She repped Christina Aguilera, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Maroon 5, Neil Diamond, Ziggy Marley, Alanis Morissette, Motley Crue and Prince. Englefield also repped “American Idol” for the show’s first four seasons and has worked on campaigns for Rock the Vote and tours for Linkin Park, Motley Crue and Ziggy Marley. Englefield previously worked for the William Morris Agency in the urban contemporary music department.
