The Broadway revival of “Promises, Promises” will shutter Jan. 2, with the show’s topliners sticking with the production until then.

Tuner, which stars Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth, opened in April and spent the summer consistently pulling in weekly sales of more than $1 million.

According to reps for the show, “Promises” is expected to recoup prior to closing.

Timing of the shuttering avoids any recasting hiccups that might come with a longer run. Both the production’s current stars, familiar from TV work, would seem to rep considerable draws for auds.

Molly Shannon will join the cast Oct. 12, replacing the exiting Katie Finneran, who picked up a Tony for her perf in the show.

Producers said there was the potential for a road incarnation in the future.
