Elaine Paige, Linda Lavin and Jan Maxwell are among the thesps lined up to join Bernadette Peters in the Kennedy Center’s revival of 1971 Stephen Sondheim-James Goldman tuner “Follies.”

Terri White, Terrence Currier, Rosalind Elias, Florence Lacey, Regine, David Sabin and Susan Watson also will appear in the production, which centers on a reunion of performers who appeared together in a fictional version of “Ziegfield’s Follies.” A couple of leading male roles remain to be cast for the Kennedy Center incarnation, which is helmed by Eric Schaeffer (“Million Dollar Quartet”).

Peters is appearing on Broadway in Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music.” Maxwell is toplining Second Stage Theater’s Off Broadway production of “Wings,” while Lavin starred last season in MTC’s Rialto staging of “Collected Stories.”

“Follies,” which runs May 7-June 19, is the latest tuner revival to be produced by the Kenn Cen, whose staging of “Ragtime” transferred to Broadway in 2009.
