Next Link begins open submissions

Project is part of NYMF's annual fall lineup

The New York Musical Theater Fest has begun open submissions for its Next Link Project, part of NYMF’s annual fall lineup of developing tuners.

Submissions to Next Link, open to any work that has not been professionally produced in Gotham, vie for showcase slots in the upcoming edition of NYMF. Fest has helped launch a number of new tuners including Tony-winner “Next to Normal,” long-running “Altar Boyz” and “Yank!”

Works can be submitted with or without an agency rep until March 1. The 2010 outing of NYMF runs Sept. 27-Oct. 17.
