“The Book of Mormon,” the tuner from “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, has nailed down its Broadway dates, opening at the Eugene O’Neill Theater in March.

Plot of the high-profile, long-gestating comedy — with book, music and lyrics by Parker, Stone and “Avenue Q” composer-lyricist Robert Lopez — follows a couple of modern-day Mormons in Africa in a storyline intercut with scenes from the life of Joseph Smith.

Parker co-helms with Casey Nicholaw (“Elf”), who also choreographs.

Timing skeds the opening of “Mormon” just prior to the April bow of the 15th season of Parker and Stone’s animated skein on Comedy Central.
