Azenberg re-ups for second term at SDC

Karen Azenberg has been elected for a second three-year term as prexy of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, the legit helmers’ union known as SDC.

Moises Kaufman, director of upcoming Robin Williams starrer “Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo,” and Seret Scott rep the additions to the union’s board, which includes Walter Bobbie (“Chicago”), Marcia Milgrom Dodge (“Ragtime”) and Amy Morton.

Melvin Bernhardt (“Da”), a vet of the SDC board, has been tapped to receive the President’s Award for Extraordinary Service. Org also has named Barbara Wolkoff as its head of member services.

Elections were held at a recent meeting in Gotham that drew around 100 union members.
