Joyce Ketay and Seth Glewen have been upped to co-heads of Gersh’s legit department.

Duo assume their posts following the departure late last year of John Buzzetti, the former Gersh partner who jumped ship to take over the theater department at WME.

Also in the Gersh theater department, Jessica Amato has been promoted to full-time agent.

Prior to joining Gersh in 2006, Ketay ran her own agency for nearly 20 years. Her current client roster includes scribes Tony Kushner (“Angels in America”), Neil LaBute (“Reasons to Be Pretty”) and Glen Berger (“Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark”), as well as writer-helmer Moises Kaufman (“33 Variations”), director Diane Paulus (“Hair”) and lighting designer Kenneth Posner.

Glewen’s client list includes writers Rajiv Joseph (“Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo”) and Kia Corthron (“A Cool Dip in the Barren Saharan Crick”) and designers Peter Kaczorowski and Neil Patel.

Glewen and Amato previously worked with Ketay at her agency, where Amato started as an assistant.

The New York branch of Gersh is topped by senior partner Bill Butler at the head of 38 employees, including 17 agents and three partners.
