Lisa Gregorian has expanded her duties at Warner Bros. TV Group, where she’s just been given chief marketing officer stripes.
Gregorian will serve as both exec VP and chief marketing officer of the division, Warner Bros. TV Group prexy Bruce Rosenblum announced Tuesday.
In making the move, Rosenblum said Gregorian had “raised the bar in marketing our television content to the worldwide television marketplace.”
The CMO title has never been used at Warner Bros. TV Group, and was created in the division specifically for Gregorian.
“Lisa has an incredible knowledge and understanding of our business, our content and, most importantly, our prospective viewers,” Rosenblum said. “Her keen sense, combined with an unmatched creativity and enthusiasm, combine to make her the premier marketing executive in our industry.”
Gregorian has spent 24 years at Warner Bros., originally joining precursor Lorimar Telepictures in 1986. She has served as exec VP of worldwide marketing for Warner Bros. TV Group since 2005.
As part of her oversight, Gregorian’s marketing team oversees the promotional and marketing for network series such as “The Big Bang Theory,” cable entries such as “The Closer,” animation (“Batman: The Brace and the Bold”), first-run skeins such as “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and broadband (led by TheWB.com).
Gregorian also sits on the board of the Promax marketing org.
